MANILA, Philippines - To this day, I still wake up and say, “OMG, I went to Africa.”

We met up with the Asia To Africa reps in Singapore to customize our I-cant-believe-we’re-going-to-Africa-on-a-safari trip. We felt completely at ease about the country the reps recommended for us—Zambia!

Why Zambia? Because we wanted to experience the real Africa. We could’ve easily asked for the big, popular game reserves in Kenya or South Africa, where you mingled with other flamboyantly dressed tourists. But we wanted sparse, isolated—“Spartan”—Africa. We had no idea. (more…)

Whoa!!! finally i get to meet Paula Taylor and Sawaka in person! those girls from the Amazing Race Asia 2 are very gorgeous, giggly and sweet!! But wait, there’s more! =] for the second time, I was able to meet the dashing debonaire, Marc Nelson!! *drooooooooL* Marc and PAula are really into each other! they are so sweet!

Originally, we are supposed to meet them at Starbucks around 5PM.. Me and my Sissy Jo arrived at starbs before 5PM..and we had a problem.. how are we goin to meet Marc, Paula and Sawaka there without them getting mobbed??? (more…)

I’ve been such a big fan of The Amazing Race Asia 2 ever since episode 1 aired! I’ve been very vocal on air about how exciting it is and how I actually like this Asian version much better than the American one. I was never a big fan of the 1st season of TARA, but I was hooked immediately when I caught the 1st episode of the 2nd season. So imagine my delight and how starstruck I was when Marc Nelson and Paula Taylor dropped by RX for a station visit! Everyone is aware of how good-looking Marc is, but what bowled over EVERYONE (ladies included) was just how pretty Paula Taylor is in person! (more…)

Amazing Race Asia 2’s radio tour. I’m with Marc Nelson of team Philippines and Paula Taylor of team Thailand. I caught up with them during their radio tour @ JAM 88.3.

Too bad, I didn’t get to see Vanessa Chong of team Malaysia. Nevertheless, I still had my picture taken with them. And, by the way, special thanks to a very good friend, Hilary for taking these pix.
