“Oh gosh! It’s so much fun here”, Paula Taylor said. She smiled,she laughed, she posed for cameras. It was 8 pm at Indochina in Singapore where the amazing race asia season 2 finale party was held last Thursday and Taylor was greeting and hugging friends and member of the local and international media.

Paula Taylor, Will Be Beautiful to Watch on the Amazing Race Asia Season 2

This week, the new teams were announced for the second season of the hit show, Amazing Race Asia. This version of the popular American show, The Amazing Race, has 10 teams running the race around Asia for a $100,000 prize. The team representing Thailand was profiled and, surprisingly, the very famous Thai actress and model Paula Taylor (aka Punlapa Taylor) is one of the members of the Thai duo. Her team mate is Natasha Monks, who works for a mining company, and is also her best friend. The two have known each other since they were little children.

Paula, age 24, is probably the most well-known and most popular actress in Thailand. She appears on magazine covers every month, is featured in Thai gossip magazines daily, is a VJ on Channel V, and her face and body are used to promote cell phones, clothing, make up and numerous other products. In Bangkok, you can’t go to any sky train or underground train station without seeing enormous posters of Paula plastered all over the walls. (more…)

“I started out in the entertainment business by starring in music videos, afterwards commercials followed. My looks are just that, childish, cute, and innocent.

…People started to view me as sexy when I posed for the MARS magazine photo shoot, it came out a little bit sexy. Do you believe that when FRONT magazine came out…BOOM…my entire image changed? Before that, no one saw me as sexy. All my friends, like Sarah (Malakul Lane) and Rita (Sririta Jensen) wore Gucci and Prada, I was only one who wore Winnie the Pooh pajamas and Mickey Mouse T-shirts.

After that, everyone wanted me to pose for them and everyone wanted it to be sexy. They would want me to wear hot pants and a see through shirt and stuff I didn’t even know. I told them they couldn’t yell at me if I went there and refused to wear it.

…There are different ways to be sexy. Nude photographs can be sexy, wearing a suit can be sexy, even Muslim clothes where you can only see the eyes can be sexy. But sexiness can come from the inside also, it depends on the person whether they are trying to be sexy, or want to show the sexiness from inside.

…When people think I’m sexy, I hope that they see it’s coming from within more than what I showing them on the outside. (more…)

Even though this song is old, everytime I listen to it, it makes me think of my mother always. This song also has a very good meaning.
